	Presentation
		EGAT is a low level gateway running on a standard PC equipped with an AFDX and 1553 AIM cards. This tool allows data exchange (Sampling/Broadcast) between calculators located on an avionic network and military specific calculator in both directional ways.

		Fault detection relating to the failure messages encoding and to the protocol.

		EGAT runs on a standard PC equipped with an 1553 and AFDX AIM cards.

		Adaptations can be carried out on request.

	Functionalities

		Interconnected networks configuration, translation tables, exchange historical system, Frame error detection/reject,

		AFDX frame construction (SN handling) and 1553 (bit parity handling).

	AFDX and 1553 compliant

		SN handling and traffic shapping for the AFDX protocol,

		On the 1553 side, the Gateway is considered as a Remote Terminal including a status word transmission for bus handling and data word transmission.
